5 weeks to go!

It’s less than 5 weeks till myself and wife Keri will be running the Edinburgh marathon 2018. 

Very excited for this challenge, probably the biggest one yet. 

Thankfully the vest I am going to be wearing arrived last week, and I’ve had the pleasure of using it a few times already. 

The focus for the next 4-5 weeks will be on functional training, core stability and metabolic conditioning. 

Hit a 2 mile best effort run tonight to finish off the day, very happy with 6:36 and 7:18 for both miles. 

The route from the house down to Tesco in Rosyth isn’t too bad, but that double hill past the schools and up the Main Street is a killer! Perfect prep tho. 

Roll on the next challenge.
