Squatting, How strong is your back?

By Michael Todd

Anybody who has ever had issues with their back will be able to relate, so any questions regarding rehab don’t hesitate to get in touch ✅ - About 10 years ago I suffered a severe football injury in my lumbar spine - This is a battle I have spent years overcoming - So squatting is definitely not my strong point - Today I hit pb twice - I matched my current 110, pushed it to 115 and finished on 120 - It was a rough finish but stayed true through the rep - Anything will always be an achievement relevant to the individual - I don’t rely on supports such as wrist straps and back supports, but they have their place in training - I usually aim to lift past my bodyweight before using any supports - I feel I can isolate my lower body, increase my confidence and relieve my back, so my legs can get to work 💪 - I also can’t recommended the rogue lifting belt enough - - - - - - - - - - #squats #weightedsquats #legs #lowerbody #bum #pb #glutes #gains #fridaymotivation #gymlife #fitness #exercise #rehab #glutes #gym #squat #strengthandconditioning #friday #workout #personaltrainer #puregym #coach #athlete #lifters #legday #fife #lifestyle #edinburgh #crossfit #lift @puregymofficial @rogueeurope @roguefitness
