Sunday Squats

Something I’ve been testing on myself and with clients is the challenge of an increase in weight for singles, followed by a significant reduction in weight for reps. A very basic but adaptation of pyramid sets, something that has been around for a while.

Today I hit singles on an ascending pyramid of about 10kg each time ranging from 60 up to a new pb of 140 I dropped the weight by 40 kilos and performed 10 reps at 100kg

So, give someone something heavy to carry then switch it for something lighter and watch them thrive..
